A credit crunch New Year break for us in 2009. A
cottage - quite posh though - in the Cotswolds,
which Richard found on the internet and which was
very comfortable indeed. Nice log stove, modern
kitchen. I took bike and did quite a few rides, the
others just relaxed, read, came to meet me. A much
needed break. The Cotswolds is quite yah ! really.
Lots of Range Rovers and tweeds and Barbours, that
sort of thing. It was really cold weather, but
mostly sunny and crisp. But oh so cold ! Especially
on the bike.
