Summer
holidays this year were supposed to be in Portugal
at Liz and Steve’s house, which David, Richard and
I had booked for the last two weeks of July. But
Basrah got in the way for me, although I managed to
arrange for my one week’s R and R to coincide with
the start of it so that I could get a few days
there at least. David and Richard were to be there
for the majority of time, joined by other house
guests as the two weeks went on. Nice house, very
comfortable, nice area, guaranteed good
weather.
