Back again in late July 2006 to Plaussenous for the summer holidays. Usual crowd, David, Richard and me for the bulk of the time, then joined in the second week by Kevin and Marcus who flew to Montpellier and hired a car. It was good to be back at Plassenous, lovely place, with good weather. When you go back to a place you seem to gain a day or two of the holiday because everything is so familiar so you aren't spending time trying to find out where you are and what you are going to do. The place is on the market following the death of John Pattison. Something like 500,000 euros is the asking price. Whether it will be available next year, who knows. I guess somebody will buy it to rent out as a gite, so we might get to go back. I spent a lot of time cycling. Some long trips, usually to meet up with the guys somewhere, have something to eat, sit on the beach, visit the sights and then home. We didn't go out much in the evenings, enjoying staying at home, cooking, eating, drinking etc.
