Easter 2005, or shortly after, our usual post-Easter break, this time to Venice. David, Richard and myself too off for a few days along the canals of Venezia. I wasn't too well for a day or so with a huge hole in the back of my throat but once I'd persuaded some pharmacist to give me some antibiotics I perked up quickly enough. Nice hotel - Giorgione - good food, wine and no difficulties with the flights etc. Good time all round.
