In late May / early June the Joint Services Hosanna House Group went to Lourdes. The Group is made up of guests and helpers; the guests are people with some disadvantage or disability with Service connections or ex-serving, and the helpers are serving or ex-serving. I was designated as Chaplain to the Group. We were in Lourdes for a week at the same time as the International Military Pilgrimage, when some 15,000 military from different countries get together in Lourdes for prayer, reconciliation and, yes, a great deal of fun !
